Bye Bye Bratz

Bratz dolls are biting the big one. They have been taken off the shelf. Or, so as not to disappoint the little girls who buy these sexy sirens of plastic, (because they themselves probably still believe in Santa), they will exit stores after Christmas.

It seems there’s a pesky copyright problem. The designer worked at Mattel when he thought up these pouty playthings.

Jade, Yasmin, Cloe (my granddaughter’s personal favorite) and Sasha, may you rest in peace.
The reporters at www.guardian.co.uk point out the collateral damage: “Perhaps most troubling for fans of the Bratz extended family will be the fate of the Bratz Babyz, the Bratz Kidz, the Bratz Petz, the Bratz Boyz and the Bratz Ponyz. On her blog, Bratz girl Yasmin chose to ignore the legal fuss to focus on her busy life "with school and community stuff", and to tell her readers about her next door neighbour's new horse, Leo.”

Wallow in everything Bratz at http://www.bratz.com/.
